CORE Proposal to 20/20The Council on Rehabilitation Education (CORE) submits this proposal to the 20/20
delegates. This proposal is written in response to the delegates vote on March 22,
2012 in San Francisco, CA to endorse the concept of a single educational
accreditation body because the delegates believe it is a clear benefit to the
counseling profession. This proposal has been developed specifically to offer an
innovative model for a structure that can facilitate 20/20's collective efforts to
effectively unify the profession. This proposal contains a structure proposed by the
CORE Board at its annual meeting in july 2012 and describes the context in which
the decision was made.
